Frequently Asked Questions:
You do not need to bring a gun for the basic CCW class. One will be provided, but you can bring your own to shoot after the training session. You do not need to bring a gun, holster, and ammo to the Advanced CCW class.
Yes. Our CCW class is designed for new, inexperienced shooters and the more experienced ones. Our classes teach you the basics of how a firearm works and how to make it work proficiently for you. You will learn about firearm safety through theoretical lectures, watching our instructors handle firearms in class, and while you handle a gun under their watchful eyes. When you are on the shooting range and handling firearms, there is always one instructor to 2 students’ ratio to ensure your safety and the safety of those around you. Even the experienced shooters who come through our classes learn quite a bit, and we hear them say so. You don’t know what you don’t know until you understand these deficiencies and recognize them. There are no egos in these classes.
Refunds will be given if we cancel a class. If you can’t make it to a class, 75% of your payment will be carried over to another date but only one time per class.
We tailor our survival classes to your situation and what you think you might need. We will ask questions, present you with possible event scenarios you may encounter, and provide solutions to prepare for them. We subscribe to the philosophy that if you are ready for the worst, you can weather almost anything life throws at you. If we empower you with the knowledge to prepare for a winter storm, where you can’t get out of your house for a week or more (which might be unlikely), you will be well prepared with the electrical power going out for a couple of days. We’ll point you in the right direction and expand that training to encompass many possible situations. You will be able to transfer the knowledge on solving one problem into creatively solving many others.
