If Zombies were to attack you today, would you be ready? If you were, then you’d be prepared for any other disaster that would come along. We can design a road map to weather almost any storm in four short hours.

Our course consists of instructions on setting up a food plan, long-term food storage, dehydrating and sealing fresh foods, canning, pressure canning, setting up a water plan, finding freshwater, choosing the best filtration system, or systems that will work best for you and your family. We can show you the best way to chemically treat non-potable water to make it fit for drinking.

Would you know how to choose the best shelter for expedience or long-term use, or how to make a shelter that will protect you from rain, cold, or other inclement weather conditions? Would you know how to set up security for the location you find yourself in, whether you’re in your home or a suitable shelter, or your car?

Would you know what you should have in your 72-Hour Kit, Bug Out Bag, or your Seven-Day-Kit? If your answer to any of these questions is “I am not sure” or “I don’t know,” then you should give us a call or schedule a training class with experts at Survival Concepts!

Four Pillars of Preparedness

A shelter that is simple to make and can be prepared in a hurry might be just what you need to keep you alive or just be comfortable for the night — until you are able to make a better shelter, or until help arrives.

Survival shelter preparation and techniques
Long-term food storage for emergencies and preparedness

Long term food storage can be as simple as purchasing 25-Year Shelf-Stable Prepackaged Foods like Freeze-Dried, Dehydrated Foods, or MRE’s ( Meals Ready to Eat). The problem with this approach, however, are the prohibitively high prices. Much of long-term food storage, if not all, can be accomplished in the convenience of your own home for a fraction of a cost.

We will teach you the difference between non-potable and potable water and where to find it. We will show you several ways to make most water safe to drink, from simple homemade water filters to boiling techniques, chemical treating up to commercial filter devices. We will also teach you acceptable practices for water storage.

Security in disaster preparedness

Having a good shelter is half the battle, but keeping others from taking it or protecting yourself from any animals that may want it is paramount. We will show you techniques that will involve situational awareness. Knowing what is going on around you will allow you to react quicker and more safely.
